When to visit ER?
Bleeding exceeding 20 minutes despite continuous pressure, massive blood flow, nosebleed following a severe head injury, or accompanying high blood pressure crisis requires ER care.
Immediate postural corrections and cooling herbal nasal drops to constrict dilated nasal capillary beds and arrest epistaxis.
⏱️ 3-Step Immediate Action Protocol

0–60s
Step 1: Immediate First Response (0–60 Seconds)
Sit upright and lean head SLIGHTLY FORWARD. Pinch the soft fleshy part of both nostrils firmly closed with thumb and forefinger for 10 full continuous minutes. Breathe through mouth.

5–15m
Step 2: Kitchen Dispensary Countermeasure
Place an ice pack or cold wet cloth across the bridge of the nose and on the nape of the neck to stimulate reflex vasoconstriction.

Step 3: Stabilization & Next 24 Hours
Instill 2–3 drops of freshly extracted green Coriander leaf juice (Dhaniya Swarasa) or pure Cow Ghee into each nostril once bleeding halts to heal the mucosal lining.

Never Do This (Contraindications):
NEVER tilt the head backward (this causes blood to flow down the throat into the stomach, triggering vomiting and aspiration risk). Do not blow nose for 4 hours.
