Experts Marketplace & Expert Agreement
Last updated: 31 July 2026 · Effective: 31 July 2026
This policy governs the Kriyasya Experts service. It has three audiences: (A) users who consult AI or human experts, (B) individuals and organisations who provide services as experts, and (C) anyone who appears in a legacy public listing. It supplements our Terms, Privacy & Refund Policy, Transaction Terms and Disclaimers.
Kriyasya provides two kinds of expert guidance: AI experts (automated, powered by artificial intelligence) and, where enabled, verified human experts. Human and AI identities are always clearly distinguished — an AI expert will never be presented to you as a human. All guidance is for reflection, education and general wellbeing only and is not professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
PART A — FOR USERS CONSULTING EXPERTS
1. What the Experts Service Is
- AI experts — automated guides across disciplines such as astrology, numerology, tarot and other traditional systems; non-clinical psychology/wellbeing coaching; and general alternative-wellness topics. Each AI expert is powered by artificial intelligence (including third-party AI providers) and is clearly labelled as AI.
- Human experts (where enabled) — independent practitioners who have completed our onboarding and verification and who offer scheduled or live consultations.
- For human-expert consultations, Kriyasya acts as an intermediary/technology platform that facilitates discovery, booking, communication and payment between you and the expert. The advisory service itself is provided by the expert, not by Kriyasya.
- The Experts service is for adults (18+) only.
2. AI Experts
- AI expert responses are generated by artificial intelligence and can be inaccurate, incomplete or fabricated. They are not verified fact and are not the judgement of a licensed professional.
- AI experts are not a doctor, therapist, counsellor, lawyer, financial adviser or religious authority, and using them creates no professional relationship. Wellbeing/psychology guides are educational and non-clinical; wellness guides are general information and never diagnosis or treatment.
- If your message suggests a crisis or risk of harm, the AI will direct you to emergency and helpline resources and will not attempt to treat you. AI experts are not an emergency service.
- AI expert conversations are typically charged per message in credits. The price band is shown before you send; safety and system messages are not charged; failed generations are not charged (or are refunded to your credit balance).
- Always independently verify anything important before relying or acting on it.
3. Human Experts — Verification & Its Limits
- Human experts complete an application, identity check and category-appropriate credential review before they can offer paid services. A "verified" badge means we carried out our onboarding checks on the information and documents provided at that time.
- Verification is not a guarantee of an expert's qualifications, licensing, accuracy, quality, outcomes or conduct. Experts are independent — they are not employees or agents of Kriyasya, and we do not control the content of their advice.
- Regulated professional services (for example medical, mental-health treatment, legal or investment advice) are not offered unless and until a specific category is expressly approved and enabled; general categories are non-clinical/non-professional.
- You engage an expert at your own discretion and risk. Independently verify credentials for any decision that matters, and never delay or replace professional care based on a consultation.
4. Bookings, Live Consultations & Credits
- Scheduled bookings are prepaid in credits at the price shown at checkout. Live consultations (chat, audio or video) are billed per minute in credits while the session is connected.
- For an instant live request, if no eligible expert accepts within the connection window, the request is cancelled and you are not charged. A session ends when the time you funded is used, when either party ends it, or on technical failure.
- Credits are a prepaid, non-refundable, non-transferable unit with no cash value, consumed when a result or minute is delivered. See the Privacy & Refund Policy and How credits work.
- Cancellation, reschedule & no-show: a scheduled booking cancelled before the stated cut-off is refunded to credits; after the cut-off a partial or no refund may apply as shown at booking. If you do not attend, the session may be forfeited; if the expert fails to attend or a genuine technical failure prevents the session, your credits are refunded.
- A technical failure that prevents a live session from connecting does not result in a charge for the undelivered time.
5. Recording, Files & Session Privacy
- Audio/video consultations are not recorded by default. Recording or transcription happens only where a feature enables it and all required participants have given explicit consent; a recording indicator is shown while active, and consent can be withdrawn to stop future capture.
- Content you share in a consultation (messages, intake details, files) is used to deliver that consultation. Do not share more sensitive information than necessary, and never share another person's data without their consent.
- Do not take a consultation off-platform to avoid fees, and do not solicit or share personal contact or payment details in chat.
6. Reviews, Complaints & Disputes
- You may review an expert only after a genuine completed consultation. Reviews must be honest, must not contain others' private information, and are subject to moderation.
- If a consultation goes wrong, you can raise a complaint or dispute. We review disputes and may, at our discretion, apply a credit refund, warning, or other remediation. Contact [email protected].
- Kriyasya — and its proprietor, team, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and service providers (the "Kriyasya Parties") — is not a party to the advisory relationship between you and a human expert and accepts no liability for the substance of an expert's advice; our role is limited to operating the platform and applying these policies fairly. Liability is otherwise limited as set out in our Terms.
PART B — FOR EXPERTS & ORGANISATIONS
If you apply to provide services as a human expert (individually or through an organisation), the following terms form an agreement between you and Kriyasya in addition to our general Terms. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of Kriyasya.
7. Eligibility, Verification & Scope
- You must be 18+, provide accurate identity and credential information, and keep it current. You authorise us to verify it and to re-verify periodically or on credential expiry.
- You may operate only within your approved category, scope and region. You must not make prohibited or misleading claims, guarantee outcomes, use fabricated credentials, or offer regulated professional services unless that category has been expressly approved for you.
- You are solely responsible for holding any licence, registration, qualification or insurance the law requires for your practice, and for complying with all laws and professional rules that apply to you.
- Documents you upload for verification are stored securely and used only for verification, compliance and safety. Approval may be refused, restricted, suspended or revoked at our discretion, with a stated reason and an appeal path where applicable.
8. Your Obligations & Conduct
- Provide services honestly, competently, respectfully and within scope; include appropriate disclaimers; and never present yourself as providing regulated professional advice you are not approved and qualified to give.
- Recognise crisis situations and direct users to emergency/helpline resources; you must not attempt to handle emergencies through the platform.
- Keep consultation information confidential, request only necessary information, obtain consent before any recording, and never misuse a user's data or contact them off-platform for unrelated purposes.
- Do not circumvent platform fees, solicit off-platform payment, impersonate others, or engage in harassment, discrimination or unlawful conduct. Honour your availability and cancellation commitments.
9. Fees, Commission, Earnings & Payouts
- Users pay in credits. Kriyasya retains a platform commission and the remainder accrues to your earnings. The default split is 30% platform / 70% expert unless a different split is agreed with you in writing and recorded for your account.
- Earnings are calculated on completed consultations at the credit-to-currency value recorded for your account, and may be held pending during dispute, refund, chargeback or risk review. Refunds and chargebacks to a user may reverse the corresponding expert earning.
- Payouts are made to your nominated account per the payout schedule and minimum threshold, after fulfilment and any hold period. Payout eligibility is separate from profile approval and requires valid payout details.
- Taxes: you are solely responsible for your own taxes (including income tax, and GST where applicable) on your earnings, and for your own invoicing/registration obligations. Kriyasya may deduct or withhold amounts (for example TDS) and issue statements where required by law. Nothing here is tax advice; consult a qualified professional.
- Pricing, commission, features and payout mechanics may change on reasonable notice. No particular level of demand, bookings or earnings is promised or guaranteed.
10. Your Content & Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of your original profile text, articles, media and other content, and you warrant you have the rights to everything you upload.
- You grant Kriyasya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, promote and distribute your profile and published content for the purpose of operating and marketing the platform, for as long as it is published (and as needed thereafter for records/backups).
- Published content must be within your approved scope, must disclose sponsorships/affiliations, and must not guarantee outcomes or infringe others' rights.
11. Reviews, Quality, Suspension & Termination
- Your public rating is based on genuine user reviews; you may respond once to a review but may not edit, hide or remove reviews. Manipulating reviews or retaliating against reviewers is prohibited.
- We may pause, restrict, suspend or remove your listing, hold earnings, or terminate this agreement for policy, safety, legal, credential-expiry, fraud or quality reasons, with an appeal path where applicable. You may stop offering services or leave at any time, subject to completing accepted bookings and settling obligations.
- Expert indemnity: to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you (and, where applicable, your organisation) will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Kriyasya and its proprietor, owners, founders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, consultants, moderators, agents, representatives, affiliates, successors, assigns, technology providers, payment providers and licensors (the "Kriyasya Parties") from claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, penalties, liabilities, costs and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to: (a) your services, advice, representations or failure to fulfil an accepted booking; (b) your profile, uploads or other content; (c) your breach of this policy, the Terms, confidentiality or privacy duties; (d) your unlawful, negligent, fraudulent, abusive or wilfully wrongful conduct; (e) infringement or alleged infringement of intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other third-party rights; and (f) your credentials, licences, professional obligations, taxes, GST/TDS, payouts or other regulatory responsibilities.
- You remain responsible for your accepted bookings, user communications, confidentiality, credentials, licences, taxes and claims arising from your practice. The indemnity does not require you to indemnify a Kriyasya Party for that party's own fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.
- Liability protection: to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Kriyasya Parties are not liable for an expert's advice, acts, omissions, services, content, credentials, taxes, availability, user relationship or third-party provider failure. Any liability of a Kriyasya Party to an expert is subject to the exclusions, aggregate cap and mandatory-law carve-outs in the Terms; nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights that applicable consumer or other mandatory law preserves.
12. Organisations & Multi-Practitioner Accounts
- An organisation (clinic, agency or team) may onboard, verify, and manage multiple practitioners, assign roles and units, and route consultations among its practitioners.
- The organisation is responsible for the accuracy of its and its practitioners' information, for the conduct of its practitioners on the platform, for any agreed payout responsibility, and for having the authority and lawful basis to manage those practitioners. Each practitioner must still meet individual eligibility and consent to their participation.
- These expert terms apply to the organisation and to each of its practitioners; the organisation must ensure its practitioners comply.
PART C — LEGACY PUBLIC LISTINGS & REMOVAL
13. Informational Listings Compiled from Public Sources
- Some pages may display informational listings compiled only from publicly available sources (public profiles, business listings, personal/professional websites) — similar to a directory. We do not use private, hacked or non-public data.
- A legacy listing does not imply the person has consented to, is aware of, endorses, or is associated with Kriyasya, and we do not employ or have a commercial relationship with them by virtue of the listing.
- We are not responsible for how third parties use publicly available information, and we do not sell or distribute listed persons' data.
14. Your Right to Be Removed — 48 Hours, No Questions Asked
If you are listed and want to be removed, we will remove you within 48 hours — no questions asked.
You do not need to give a reason. To request removal or a correction, email:
[email protected]
Subject: "Remove my listing" · Include your name and/or the listing URL. Removal is unconditional and permanent, and we will submit search-engine de-indexing requests.
15. Legal Basis & Intermediary Status
- For facilitated human-expert services, Kriyasya operates as an intermediary/technology platform and claims applicable intermediary protections, including under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and exercises due diligence including accessible reporting and removal mechanisms.
- Processing of publicly available personal data in legacy listings relies on the exemption for publicly available personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023 and, for EU-listed individuals, legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f); erasure/objection requests are honoured unconditionally.
- Personal and payment data are handled per our Privacy & Refund Policy.
