अर्थ: यह अमर ग्रंथ है, यह मुक्ति का मार्ग है, यह पाँचवाँ अनुपम वेद है। यह ज्ञान की गंगा है, भक्ति की यमुना है, और इन तीनों (ज्ञान, भक्ति, वैराग्य) का संगम है।
This is an immortal scripture, this is the path to liberation, it is the unique fifth Veda. It is the Ganga of knowledge, the Yamuna of devotion, and the confluence of these three.

It showers the nectar of peace, and shows the path to salvation. This confluence of action, knowledge, and devotion makes life blissful.

अर्थ: जो कोई इसे सुनता है, पढ़ता है या गाता है, वह भवसागर से पार हो जाता है। जो कोई इसकी कथा सुनाता है, उसके जन्म-जन्म के पाप मिट जाते हैं।
Whoever listens to it, reads it, or sings it, crosses the ocean of worldly existence. Whoever narrates its story, their sins of many births are erased.

It is the embodiment of truth, the bestower of liberation. It is the knower of the supreme Dharma. In the Kali Yuga, this alone is the support, which helps one cross the ocean of existence.
