नमामि यमुनामहं सकल सिद्धि हेतुं मुदा ।
मुरारि पद पंकज स्फुरद मंद रेणुत्कटाम् ॥
तटस्थ नव कानन प्रकट मोद पुष्पाम्बुना ।
सुरसुरभि सेवितं स्मरहरि प्रियं भावुकाम् ॥१॥
कलिंद गिरि मस्तके पतित पावनोदकम् ।
प्रवाह सहितं शुभं स्मरहरि प्रियं भावुकाम् ॥
तटस्थ नव कानन प्रकट मोद पुष्पाम्बुना ।
सुरसुरभि सेवितं स्मरहरि प्रियं भावुकाम् ॥२॥

अर्थ: मैं समस्त सिद्धियों की हेतु, आनंदमयी यमुना जी को प्रणाम करता हूँ। जिनके तट पर मुरारी (श्रीकृष्ण) के चरण-कमलों की मंद-मंद धूलि सुशोभित है। जिनके तट पर नवीन वन-उपवन खिले हुए हैं, जहाँ पुष्पों की सुगंध से आनंद व्याप्त है। जो देवताओं और सुरभियों (कामधेनु) द्वारा सेवित हैं, और जो कामदेव के शत्रु (श्रीकृष्ण) को अत्यंत प्रिय हैं, ऐसी भावमयी यमुना जी को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।
I joyfully bow down to Yamuna, the source of all accomplishments. Her banks are adorned with the gentle, radiant dust from Murari's (Lord Krishna's) lotus feet. On her shores, new forests and gardens bloom, filled with the delightful fragrance of flowers. She is served by gods and Surabhis (celestial cows), and she is exceedingly dear to Smarahari (Lord Krishna, the vanquisher of Kamadeva). To such a divine and emotional Yamuna, I offer my salutations.
अर्थ: जो कालिंद पर्वत (यमुना पर्वत) के मस्तक से पवित्र जल के रूप में प्रवाहित होती हैं। जिनका प्रवाह अत्यंत शुभ है और जो कामदेव के शत्रु (श्रीकृष्ण) को अत्यंत प्रिय हैं, ऐसी भावमयी यमुना जी को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ। जिनके तट पर नवीन वन-उपवन खिले हुए हैं, जहाँ पुष्पों की सुगंध से आनंद व्याप्त है। जो देवताओं और सुरभियों द्वारा सेवित हैं, और जो कामदेव के शत्रु (श्रीकृष्ण) को अत्यंत प्रिय हैं, ऐसी भावमयी यमुना जी को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।
She descends as sacred waters from the peak of Kalind Giri (Yamuna mountain). Her flow is auspicious, and she is exceedingly dear to Smarahari (Lord Krishna).
