शान्ताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशं |
विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम् ||
लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यं |
वन्दे विष्णुं भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम् ||
Shanta-aakaaram Bhujaga-shayanam Padma-naabham Suresh-am |
Vishva-adhaaram Gagana-sadrusham Megh-avarnam Shubhaangam ||
Lakshmi-kaantam Kamala-nayanam Yogi-bhir-dhyaan-gamyam |
Vande Vishnum Bhava-bhaya-haram Sarva-loka-eik-naatham ||
अर्थ: जो शांत स्वरूप, शेषनाग पर शयन करने वाले, नाभि में कमल धारण करने वाले, देवताओं के स्वामी हैं | जो सम्पूर्ण विश्व के आधार, आकाश के समान व्यापक, मेघ के समान श्याम वर्ण और सुन्दर अंगों वाले हैं ||
He who has a peaceful form, who rests on a serpent, who has a lotus in his navel, the Lord of the Gods | Who is the support of the universe, who is like the sky in expansiveness, who has the color of clouds, and beautiful limbs ||
अर्थ: जो लक्ष्मी के स्वामी, कमल के समान नेत्रों वाले, योगियों द्वारा ध्यान से प्राप्त किये जाने योग्य हैं | उन भव (संसार) के भय को हरने वाले, सम्पूर्ण लोकों के एकमात्र नाथ भगवान विष्णु को मैं वंदन करता हूँ ||
Who is the consort of Lakshmi, whose eyes are like lotuses, who is attainable through meditation by yogis | I worship that Vishnu, the remover of the fear of worldly existence, the sole Lord of all realms ||
