जय जय श्री शनिदेव भक्तन हितकारी।
सूरज के पुत्र प्रभु छाया महतारी॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥
श्याम शरीर विशाल, ध्वजा है तिहारी।
कृष्ण वस्त्र काले, सवारी कृत भारी,
नील अम्बर छवि निराली, नील अम्बर छवि निराली,
लोह मुद्रिका धारी॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥
क्रोध स्वरूप महातम, दहनेशन कारी।
जो भक्त प्रेम से पूजे, जो भक्त प्रेम से पूजे,
सदा करो रखवारी॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥
काल दण्ड के धारी, करो जग कल्याण।
शनिवार को पूजें, तेल तिल का दान,
छाया दान उड़द का, छाया दान उड़द का,
प्रसन्न हों भगवान॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥
साढ़े साती से रक्षा, ढैय्या से उबारो।
महादशा से बचाओ, महादशा से बचाओ,
संकट सब निवारो॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥
शनिश्चरी अमावस्या, पीपल पूजन कारी।
सरसों तेल का दीपक, सरसों तेल का दीपक,
जलावें शनिवारी॥ जय जय श्री शनिदेव॥

Shyam sharir vishal, dhwaja hai tihari,
Krishna vastra kaale, sawari krit bhari,

Krodh swaroop mahatam, dahneshna kari,
Jo bhakt prem se pooje, jo bhakt prem se pooje,

Kaal dand ke dhari, karo jag kalyan,
Shanivar ko poojein, tel til ka daan,
Chhaya daan urad ka, chhaya daan urad ka,

Sadhesaati se raksha, dhaiyya se ubaaro,
Mahadasha se bachao, mahadasha se bachao,

Shanischari Amavasya, peepal poojan kari,
Sarson tel ka deepak, sarson tel ka deepak,
Jalavein Shanivari. Jai jai Shri Shanidev.
अर्थ: भक्तों का हित करने वाले श्री शनिदेव की जय हो।

अर्थ: सूर्य पुत्र और माता छाया के पुत्र प्रभु की जय हो; श्री शनिदेव की जय हो।

अर्थ: आपका श्याम विशाल शरीर और ध्वजा शोभायमान है।

अर्थ: आप काले वस्त्र धारण करते हैं और आपका वाहन प्रभावशाली है।
You wear dark garments and have a powerful vehicle.
अर्थ: नीले वस्त्रों में आपकी छवि निराली है।
Your blue-robed form is unique and beautiful.

अर्थ: शनिवार के दिन आपकी पूजा की जाती है और तेल-तिल का दान किया जाता है।
