सद्गुण वैभव शालिनी, त्रिभुवन विख्याता ||
चंद्रवदनि पद्मासिनी, द्युति मंगलकारी |
सोहे शुभ्र हंस सवारी, अतुल तेजधारी ||
बाएं कर में वीणा, दाएं कर माला |
शुभ्र वस्त्र धारिणी, अतिशय मन भाला ||
मंदिरा में तुम बैठी, सब पर कृपा करो |
ज्ञान प्रकाश भर दो, अज्ञान दूर करो ||
धूप दीप फल मेवा, पूजा स्वीकारो |
ज्ञान चक्षु दे माता, भव बंधन तारो ||
सरस्वती माता की आरती, जो कोई जन गावे |
विद्या बुद्धि ज्ञान पावे, सुख संपत्ति आवे ||

अर्थ: हे सरस्वती माता, आपकी जय हो! हे मैया सरस्वती माता, आपकी जय हो! आप सद्गुणों और वैभव से परिपूर्ण हैं, और तीनों लोकों में विख्यात हैं।
Hail Mother Saraswati, Victory to Mother Saraswati! O Mother, you are endowed with virtues and splendor, renowned throughout the three worlds.
अर्थ: आपका मुख चंद्रमा के समान है और आप कमल पर विराजमान हैं, आपकी कांति मंगलकारी है। आप श्वेत हंस पर सवार होकर शोभायमान होती हैं और अतुलनीय तेज धारण करती हैं।
Your face is like the moon, you are seated on a lotus, and your radiance brings auspiciousness. You are adorned, riding upon a pure white swan, possessing immeasurable brilliance.
अर्थ: आपके बाएं हाथ में वीणा और दाएं हाथ में माला सुशोभित है। आप श्वेत वस्त्र धारण करती हैं और अत्यंत मनमोहक लगती हैं।
In your left hand, you hold the Veena, and in your right, a rosary. You are clad in white garments, captivating the mind with your beauty.
अर्थ: आप मंदिरों में विराजमान होकर सभी पर कृपा करती हैं। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आप हममें ज्ञान का प्रकाश भर दें और अज्ञान को दूर करें।
Seated in temples, you bestow grace upon all. Please fill us with the light of knowledge and dispel our ignorance.
अर्थ: हम आपको धूप, दीप, फल और मेवा अर्पित करते हैं, कृपया हमारी पूजा स्वीकार करें। हे माता, हमें ज्ञान की आँखें प्रदान करें और हमें संसार के बंधनों से मुक्त करें।
We offer you incense, lamps, fruits, and sweets; please accept our worship. O Mother, grant us the eyes of wisdom and liberate us from the bonds of worldly existence.
अर्थ: जो कोई भी इस सरस्वती माता की आरती का गान करता है, वह विद्या, बुद्धि और ज्ञान प्राप्त करता है, तथा उसके जीवन में सुख और संपत्ति आती है।
