अर्थ: हे शिव ओंकार! आपकी जय हो, हे प्रभु शिव ओंकार! आपकी जय हो। आप ही ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और सदाशिव के रूप में अर्धांगिनी (शक्ति) को धारण करने वाले हैं।

Victory to Lord Shiv Omkara, O Lord Shiv Omkara, victory to You! You are Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiv, holding the divine consort (Shakti) as half of your being.

अर्थ: आप एक मुख वाले (ब्रह्मा), चार मुख वाले (विष्णु) और पाँच मुख वाले (स्वयं शिव) के रूप में सुशोभित होते हैं। आप हंस पर (ब्रह्मा), गरुड़ पर (विष्णु) और वृषभ (नंदी) पर (शिव) विराजमान होते हैं।

You appear gloriously with one face (Brahma), four faces (Vishnu), and five faces (Lord Shiva Himself). You are adorned with the swan (Brahma's vehicle), Garuda (Vishnu's vehicle), and the bull (Nandi, Shiva's vehicle).

अर्थ: आप दो भुजाओं वाले, चार भुजाओं वाले और दस भुजाओं वाले रूप में अत्यंत सुशोभित होते हैं। आपके इन तीनों गुणों वाले रूपों को देखकर तीनों लोकों के लोग मोहित हो जाते हैं।

You are exceedingly beautiful with two arms, four arms, and ten arms. Beholding these three-fold forms of Yours, the beings of all three worlds are enchanted.

अर्थ: आप रुद्राक्ष की माला, वनमाला और मुंडमाला धारण करने वाले हैं। आपके शरीर पर चंदन और मृगमद (कस्तूरी) सुशोभित होते हैं, हे भोलेनाथ, आप कल्याणकारी हैं।

You wear rosaries of Rudraksha, garlands of forest flowers, and garlands of skulls. Sandalwood paste and musk adorn Your body, O Bholenath, You are the bestower of auspiciousness.

अर्थ: आप श्वेत वस्त्र (ब्रह्मा), पीले वस्त्र (विष्णु) और बाघाम्बर (शिव) धारण करते हैं। सनकादि ऋषि, गरुड़ और भूत-प्रेत आपके संग रहते हैं।

You wear white garments (Brahma), yellow garments (Vishnu), and tiger skin (Shiva). Sages like Sanaka, Garuda, and various spirits (bhutas) accompany You.

अर्थ: आपके हाथों में कमंडलु (ब्रह्मा), चक्र (विष्णु) और त्रिशूल (शिव) सुशोभित हैं। आप ही संसार के रचयिता, पालक और संहारक हैं।

In Your hands, You hold the water pot (Kamandalu, Brahma), the discus (Chakra, Vishnu), and the trident (Trishool, Shiva). You are the creator, sustainer, and destroyer of the universe.

अर्थ: ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और सदाशिव के भेद को अज्ञानी लोग नहीं जानते। वास्तव में, प्रणवाक्षर (ॐ) के भीतर ये तीनों एक ही हैं।

Ignorant people do not understand the distinction between Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiv. In reality, within the sacred syllable Om (Pranavakshar), these three are one.

अर्थ: काशी में भगवान विश्वनाथ विराजमान हैं, और उनके साथ नंदी ब्रह्मचारी के रूप में स्थित हैं। प्रतिदिन उठकर उनके दर्शन करने से अत्यंत भारी महिमा (पुण्य) प्राप्त होती है।

In Kashi (Varanasi), Lord Vishwanath resides, accompanied by Nandi, the eternal celibate. By daily rising and having His darshan, immense glory (merit) is attained.

अर्थ: स्वामी शिवानंद कहते हैं कि जो कोई भी इन तीनों गुणों के स्वामी (भगवान शिव) की यह आरती गाता है, वह अपने मनवांछित फल को प्राप्त करता है।

Swami Shivanand says that whoever sings this Aarti of the Lord of the three Gunas (Lord Shiva) attains their desired fruits.
