गिरिवर धारी, गोवर्धन धारी, प्रभु गिरिवर धारी ।
इंद्र कोप से रक्षा करी, ब्रज रक्षा करी ॥

भक्तन के तुम रक्षक, दुखहारी ॥
बंसी बजावत, गौएँ चरावत, प्रभु बंसी बजावत ।
वृंदावन में लीला रचावत, मन हरषावत ॥

भक्तन के तुम रक्षक, दुखहारी ॥
माखन चोर कन्हैया, यशोदा के ललैया, प्रभु माखन चोर कन्हैया ।
गोपियों के तुम प्राण प्रिया, सुख दैया ॥

अर्थ: आप ही गिरिराज गोवर्धन पर्वत को धारण करने वाले हैं, हे प्रभु! आपने इंद्र के क्रोध से ब्रज की रक्षा की।
You are the one who lifted the Girivar (Govardhan) mountain, O Lord! You protected Braj from Indra's wrath.

You play the flute, you graze the cows, O Lord, you play the flute! You enact divine pastimes in Vrindavan, delighting every heart.
