हंसानन षडानन, गरुड़ासन साजे ॥

दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज, दसभुज अति सोहे ।
त्रिगुण रूप निरखते, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे ॥

श्वेताम्बर पीताम्बर, बाघाम्बर अंगे ।
सनकादिक गरुड़ादिक, भूतादिक संगे ॥

अर्थ: ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो, हे प्रभु शिव ओंकार की जय हो! आप ही ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और सदाशिव के रूप में अर्धांगिनी (शक्ति) को धारण करते हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara, O Lord, Hail to Shiv Omkara! You, as Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiv, hold your divine consort (Shakti) as half of your being. Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: आप कभी एक मुख वाले, कभी चार मुख वाले और कभी पाँच मुख वाले के रूप में सुशोभित होते हैं। कभी हंस पर विराजमान, कभी छह मुख वाले (कार्तिकेय) और कभी गरुड़ पर (विष्णु) के रूप में सजते हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
You appear sometimes with one face, sometimes with four faces, and sometimes with five faces, shining gloriously. Sometimes you are adorned on a swan (Brahma), sometimes with six faces (Kartikeya), and sometimes on Garuda (Vishnu). Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: आप कभी दो भुजाओं वाले, कभी चार भुजाओं वाले और कभी दस भुजाओं वाले होकर अत्यंत शोभायमान होते हैं। आपके इन त्रिगुणात्मक रूपों को देखकर तीनों लोकों के प्राणी मोहित हो जाते हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
You appear sometimes with two arms, sometimes with four arms, and sometimes with ten arms, looking exceedingly beautiful. Beholding these three-fold forms of yours, the beings of the three worlds are enchanted. Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: आपके अंगों पर श्वेत वस्त्र (विष्णु), पीत वस्त्र (ब्रह्मा) और बाघाम्बर (शिव) सुशोभित होते हैं। सनकादिक ऋषि, गरुड़ और भूतगण आपके साथ रहते हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
White garments (Vishnu), yellow garments (Brahma), and tiger skin (Shiva) adorn your body. Sages like Sanaka, Garuda, and various spirits accompany you. Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: आपके हाथों में कमंडल, चक्र और त्रिशूल धारण किए हुए हैं। आप ही सृष्टि के रचयिता, पालनकर्ता और संहारकर्ता हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकारा की जय हो!
In your hands, you hold a water pot (kamandal), a discus (chakra), and a trident (trishul). You are the creator, the sustainer, and the destroyer of the universe. Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: जो अविवेकी हैं, वे ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और सदाशिव को अलग-अलग जानते हैं। परंतु प्रणवाक्षर (ॐ) के भीतर ये तीनों एक ही हैं। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
Those who are unwise perceive Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiv as separate entities. But within the sacred syllable Om (Pranavakshar), these three are one. Hail to Lord Shiv Omkara!
अर्थ: जो कोई भी इस त्रिगुण स्वामी (शिव) की आरती गाता है, शिवानंद स्वामी कहते हैं कि वह अपनी मनचाही इच्छाओं का फल प्राप्त करता है। ॐ शिव ओंकार की जय हो!
